Hug-Witschi is an official Worldline dealer and distributes Ingenico’s high-performance vending machine terminals.
The self line has been a success on the market for years and stands out as a robust solution for payments at vending machines or for reloading onto a closed system using our Compact Loader [Link] reload stations.
Ingenico offers three models with an MDB interface (self 2000, 4000, 5000). Hug-Witschi offers the self/2000 LE, which is designed exclusively for contactless payments.
The self/2000 is the ideal device for exclusively contactless payments: the ideal solution for the vending machine market. The self/2000 LE is PCI PTS 6.x certified, ensuring long-term availability.
For amounts over 80.- (Switzerland), the PIN can be entered directly on the display (PIN-on-Glass). This also applies if the PIN is requested after several contactless payment transactions.
Thanks to EP2 certification, the self terminals support all debit and credit cards available on the Swiss market. Hug-Witschi assists merchants in finalizing their contracts with Worldline.
Thanks to the standardized EVA installation format, the terminals can be easily installed in vending machines. The devices are certified for use with the DIVA2 platform and can be integrated via DIVA2 (MDB, CCI, Executiv, BDV, parallel) or directly into vending machines or coffee machines.
